Mitsubishi Fuso Shows Presence at the "Brisbane Truck and Machinery show" Date Created: 30 Jun 2009
Australia's biggest and most attended truck show, "Brisbane Truck and Machinery show" was held during the period May 14-17. The show is held every two years at the Royal Show Ground in Brisbane and attracts attention from people all over the country. This year was also no exception.
Mitsubishi Fuso Australia dealers working at the stand during the show were excited that this year's attendance and number of leads generated was perhaps the best ever. There was much interest in all aspects of the stand. The key elements of the display included the "Canter Eco-D" and the "Canter AT". Mitsubishi Fuso's exhibition also included the "Canter Eco Hybrid" and the FG-based camping car, "Earth Cruiser," which also received high attention. Some dealers commented that having the Canter AT on display gave them great opportunity to start initial contact with customers who attended the show and led to several business contract negotiations.
For some time now, Mitsubishi Fuso has encouraged dealers to invite their key customers to the Truck Show and spend time with Mitsubishi Fuso. This year, in conjunction with our dealers, around 150 customers were in attendance. The most important thing is that the show provides an opportunity for dealers and Mitsubishi Fuso to collaborate and further strengthen relationships with customers and show continuing support.
Customers were very much satisfied with the Mitsubishi Fuso stand, and it received high evaluation compared to that of competitors.
In 2008, Mitsubishi Fuso sold about 4,600 units in the Australia market (make sure to use official Daimler numbers), and for the year 2009 through May, Fuso holds about 14% market share.
